Nestled in the beautiful Haruātai Park . . .
Ōtaki Montessori is a place where tamariki are the center of all we do. We encourage holistic interactions for every learner through a Montessori lens. We are set within the heart of Haruātai Park with access to native bush which our tamariki frequently enjoy.
Nature forms an integral part of learning experiences at Ōtaki Montessori. Tamariki from our Tui class have a weekly visit to our Nature classroom in the Haruatai Bush. Our environment, the Haruatai park and bush, the birds that we see, the plants around us and the ranges all provide learning for our Tamariki.
Education is a natural process carried out by the children's experiences in the environment.
